We kindly invite you to join our ice climbing tours run by professional mountain guide IVBV / UIAGM / IFMGA.
We tailor our program to individual needs. Persons who know ice climbing basics and are in good physical condition (capable to climb for many hours on long routes) are very welcome.
We don’t require leading skills, but you have to know all the multi-pitch climbing procedures with focus on proper belaying the leader climber and you must be able to operate in gloves (cleaning after leader) and be experienced in ascending.

If you are complete beginner we would suggest you to join our beginner course first. If your goal is to improve your climbing skills then the best for you is our ice climbing clinics. Both of the programs concentrate on teaching process but at the same time are very adventurous and always located in fantastic climbing areas.

We can recommend you to climb with us in Rjukan, known as a ice climbers Mecca, with short access and endless variations of ice routes. We can offer you round trip in Norway and show you the best of the ice lines. We can combine your trip with some of the famed Norwegian classics. If you are unclear about where to go we can always suggest you the destination and climbing goals.
If you decide to climb with Chillup Guide it is beyond question that your climbing objects will be customized to your abilities and selected to actual conditions. Any extra no climbing day (for pick up or drop off at the airport, when we travel between regions or have a rest day) is charged:

If the trip is longer (from 4 climbing days) we will not charge additional fee for no climbing days on the trip.

Our program is design for experienced skiers who can ride on piste and offpiste in the ski resort. We would love to show you possibility of skiing in the wild mountains without the crowds and teach you how to do it safe.

In order to develop solid ski touring experience our program includes: ski touring techniques, avalanche risk management, pre-planning methods, navigation and avalanche rescue. We’ll provide you with all necessary information about devices, equipment and clothes you need while ski touring. We will present you lectures followed by slideshows and we will exercise in the mountains. Our program contains several ski tours when you will be able to practice your knowledge.

We will be situated in one of the best Norwegian mountain regions with majestic peaks. Here we will exercise ski touring and enjoy amazing nature. Amazing views and unique Norwegian nature make our ski touring course unforgettable.

You will be accommodated on small, beautiful and wild island called Uløya. We will take you for several adventurous ski tours: directly from lodge on the island, by boat and by car on the main land and other islands in the area. Combination of all types of transportation give us possibility to tailor our ski tours to actual snow and weather condition and provide the best trip according to the day.
We have usually 2 or 3 ski tour days by boat in our 1 week package.

Our guide service is partnered with two separate lodges for complete multiday ski packages.

Option 1 – Lyngen Outdoor Center:

We offer comfortably furnished apartments in a two-story building and
a separate house, both located 50m from the water line,  at the foot of
Blåtinden (1142m)
The apartments are comfortably equipped with everything you need for a home from home. The kitchen is a modern, clean, fully equipped space with all the necessary equipment to make your stay comfortable: plates, cutlery, pots, pans, drip-coffee maker, electric kettle, oven, and a dishwasher. The livingroom area is furnished with leather seating and has a traditional Norwegian fireplace. TV, DVD, and Wi-Fi (free of charge) are all here to keep you connected with the outside world should you wish.
In addition, there is a heated cellar that guests are welcome to use for drying equipment and wet clothes. There are hangers and laundry facilities, as well as several 400-litre freezers in anticipation of your successful fishing trips.

Option 2 – Arctic Panorama Lodge:

The lodge has six double rooms for single or double use with en suite bathrooms, a fully licensed bar and a living room with several seating areas and a large fireplace. The living room has stunning panoramic views. One of the rooms is designed for disabled guests. The lodge is a single-story building with large panoramic windows facing the fjord and mountains. The building has central heating systems in all floors.
